I live about an hour from there. Its an asume place. I've been over that road on 4 wheelers, at the time I didn't think it was that bad. Not to sure I would talk a classic jeep over it, but I guess thats what they are there for.
I think a HUMMER would be a better vehicle to use, a LOT more ground clearance, and a 65 Jeep is a little too old to be bounce aroung like that, I drove one up Pikes Peak in the Hill Climb in 65, no trouble there/then.

Nope not crazy, crazy would be doing it in the winter on snow and ice.
