Chevy or Ford. Don't really care for dodge myself, However that new Outdoors man model by dodge has some pretty cool/handy storage compartments n what not.
ford...i dont mind the cummins engine, but the trucks fall apart, same thing with chevys...ive watched my parents buy gmc and chevy cars and just watch them fall to peices, like the trailblazer we currently have. the cars arent built very well, and i dont care for the crap qaulity.
Ford, didn't take my tax money for one reason and I just purchased a new F150 the best selling pickup 34 years in a row. They must be doing something right. It has a V8 engine with 360 HP and on the open road I can get 23 MPG. Not bad for a full size truck. Ford designed all new engines for 2011 for their trucks. Oh and my Father sold Fords for 30 years starting in 1949 until 1979 and I considered him a very wise person. And by the way neither Winchester or Remington, Tikkas, Sakos and CZs.
Ford took advantage of a cheap loan program. The government didn’t get any ownership interest in Ford as part of the deal.
In contrast, the Federal government obtained some ownership in both GM and Chrysler. The taxpayers own part of the companies. Taking ownership is different.
This lame question has been asked about a dozen times in recent memory. I will buy my trucks based on performance and longevity, not some CEO's B.S. BTW, give your money to Bill Ford, an active supporter of the gay and lesbian movement, so they can donate more million$. Not that there is anything wrong with being that way.......LOL
I'm a chevy man! Rides smooth and looks great. Plus they have OnStar which is (in my opinion) the greatest invention there is. It keeps me safe where ever i am and tells me where i need to go and i can call my family if i need to, what more could i ask for? We just borrowed a New GMC 2011 truck 2 weeks ago and it drove like a dream so i'm going to be looking at those too. But regardless GM is where im getting my trucks.
Ford all the way, Thats all my familys ever driven for trucks. My Grandpa has an old 69 Ford grain truck that still runs like a top, and we've had to do very minimal work on it. We dont use it much anymore but when we need it, it always starts and drives great.
I have always been a Chevy man but have owned several good Fords as well. I have bought three Dodges and had rotten luck with all of them. As soon as warranty goes out so does almost everyting else including transmissions, transfer cases, thermostats, light switches (hit the dimmer and all lights in and on the Dodge went out, had two that did this, very scary on the highway), starters, batteries, and more. When I purchased my first Dodge Cummins a friend to me "you will love the Cummins but hate the Dodge", well stated.
thunderdog...have fun with your new GMC truck, it will become a money pit in 4 years when it begins to fall to peices...usually just after your dont paying for the car.
Although I am a Ford man at heart, I was recently given a Chevy Silverado rental truck as a courtesy vehicle, and was very much impressed with its handling characteristics.
Loved my Silverado, but it is made by GM (Government Motors) and I won't support those who sell out to Obama. I was stranded in a blizzard at 9,000 feet when the fuel pump failed in a Dodge, and Dodge conveniently concealed that pump inside the tank. So far only fond memories of Fords.
ford has been my family's choice and the #1 choice of all the construction company's that i've worked for. so after 40 years i have to say ford is my #1 choice.although dodge pulls a strong 2nd with the outdoorsman, and the cummins.
chevys in my opinion are the best on the road and have the best suspension, ford are built the best and are the toughest out in the hills but rides like a bull, and the dodge cummins are the best for pulling. it all depends on what you are using it for.

I'm a Chevy man myself but I think all three are pretty good trucks if you buy in the right year.
Absolutely!
Chevy
Well I like Chevy Silverado and F-150 the same
Ford because they didn't take a government bailout. Used to be a Chevy man but will never buy another.
Another Ford man here. I've noticed that Ford men also seem to prefer Winchester products, while Chevy people tend to go for Remington.
