I like my dads 2010 silverado (might be 2011 not sure) its not fully decked out (they screwed up his order.he had ordered a fully loaded truck but something got mixed up but its ok) Its a crew cab and pretty spacious.I can fit in the back (i'm 6'2) and still be pretty comfortable. It also has OnStar which in my opinion is the greatest invention ever! Say what you want about "goverment motors" but i think they make quality vehicles. I think you would be very satisfied with a purchase of a silverado.
I'm a Ford man, you are opening a can of worms.
If I could go buy a brand new 1998 Silverado Z-71, I would. Mine has 303,000 miles on it and I just drove it 1,200 miles to Colorado and back on an elk hunt. Like A Rock!
Has anyone seen the new Dodge Ram Outdoorsmen! I mean that thing screams "LETS HIT THE TRAILS"!!
FORD! The most dependable truck on the road to date!
by JD.Powers,Road&Track,Car and Driver.
#2 GM the Heart Beat of America.
#3 Dodge is the least dependable Truck on the Road
#1 Tundra,If you haven't driven one, it's not your daddys 350, what a truck! #2 Ford F's
Love my Tundra 4 door, wouldn't change a thing 'cept wish I had gone ahead and gotten 4 WD.
BTW I rode in WAM's truck quite a bit in Colorado and it is solid. When I trade will give GM a look for sure.
Can't beat the chevy's gas mileage; its best in class.
thx for askin I bin wantin to say this. the all new 2011 F-250 SUPER DUTY v8 power stroke DEISE. YA i WANT ONE. now ONLY 35,000 little out of my and your price range.
Del, you should always go ahead and get the 4WD. I'm a Chevy man but I sure do like those new Rams.
Im personaly going to go with a ford, or chevy/gm I will not go with another dodge
TODAYS TRUCKS SUCK!
Ford F-150. My father has always been a die-hard Chevy men, but he got a F-150 for the right price, and he's put 100,000 hard miles on it. It a lariat edition so it's got all the options. It handles like a car. The acceleration is quick, and the body doesn't roll when taking a hard curve. Gas mileage is good as well. The new models- my dad's is a '97- have many more amenities. There is a reason it's been the best selling truck for over 30 years.
I bought a new Ford F-150 last summer. I will never own another type of truck. I got a quad cab so I could have the extra cabin space and it makes all the difference in the world when it's raining and I've got things I don't want wet. The seats fold up easily and it has a high bed. I don't need 4 wheel drive, but if I had even thought I would need it, I would've got it. It wasn't that much more. If you want a camper, I would suggest you get just the extended cab.
im goin wit the chevy myself but fords are great to
After working for GM, Ford, Chrysler, and some suppliers - the best is a Toyota. But, a late model Ford F-150 was the best vehicle I ever owned. My only complaint was the bed being so deep, which translates into tall. Some over-thinker thought it was brilliant to add two inches to the depth of the bed. Looks nice from the side by makes it impossible for the average person to reach into the bed and decreases rear visibility substantially.
I think I am just going to re-power my Chevy when the time comes. I'd hate to take one of those new pretty boy trucks some of the places that I drive.
