New Jersey - Round Valley Reservoir
New Jersey lake trout sounds like an oxymoron, but this Hunterdon County reservoir has coughed up state records for lakers, brown trout, and smallmouth bass. There are two boat ramps, and a 10-hp motor limit prevails. Camping is permitted at some semi-wilderness sites that are reachable by boat only. used to fish the bay since i was about 5 or 6 im 23 now. fish nubers are down bad flounder are so sparce a good day is like 3 or 4 at 8-9 inches a piece. blues are still good though if you can catch a run. its just depressing
