'christian hunter' makes no sense to me. i used to hunt until i really began to thoroughly study the life of christ, and accept him into my life. i was so inspired by his gentile love and compassion for all of god's creatures. although we do have dominion over the animals, and jesus did fish for food, i could never imagine him going around killing animals for fun, grinning evilly for the camera (provided he were alive in the camera days) as he sits holding one of god's beautiful creatures who's dying in extreme pain. christ was a shepherd, and preached stewardship. while i do believe hunting for fod, population control, and other valid reasons is acceptable and natural, i think "sport" hunting, that is, a sick high and thrill for causing harm on god's creatures, is very un-christ like. look at the picture of christ holding the lamb. what does that say to you? hunting may be a super duper hardcore badass hell yeah american type of game. but that doesn't mean it's a christian one. christianity before nationalism, always. i hope people will realize that just because something is an american or wordly tradition, does not mean it serves christ. people xause way too much harm in the name of christ, to humans and animals. so amazingly sad. reflect on jesus' supreme love and compassion for the earth- and emulate it. god bless all. (note: i do, however, support the 2nd amendment to the fullest extent, for our protection)

i forgot to mention that palin being a better shot then cheney doesn't make her a better vp. anyone want to sell some left over venison this hunting season, i'll buy it, but i am not buying her. as far as shooting wolves is concerned- you should be very careful about killing off predators. we killed of most of the wolves on the east coast, which is why we have deer starving, getting hit by cars, etc. wolves do attack whatever they can get, healthy or otherwise. that is their job, and maybe we need to stay out of their way instead of screwing with the balance of nature by shooting them from helicopters. to all of you hunters- if you can't take the heat from the predators that were there before you, maybe you should get out of the proverbial kitchen, before we all fry. i've got to go now, my husband is teaching me how to use our mossberg (sp?)
