Tune Your Crankbaits for Better Bass Action

STEP 1 Make a small, open overhand knot about 6 inches from the end of the line. Pass the tag end through the lure eye and back through the overhand knot. Make sure to keep the overhand knot itself close to the front of the lure.

STEP 2 Wrap the tag end three times around the main line.

STEP 3 Put the tag end back through the overhand knot and then through the loop that was just formed.

STEP 4 Tighten slowly and firmly by pulling alternately on the standing line, the tag end, and the lure.
