F&S Gear: What We Like

For upland bird hunting, Browning's Kangaroo Featherweight Series boots are a favorite.

Light on Your Feet

For over 17 years I have waited for doves and walked up on quail with the same pair of Browning's Kangaroo Featherweight Series boots. They are stronger than cowhide, noninsulated, and waterproof. The boots still come with the same shock-absorbing Vibram Gumlite sole and are simply the lightest and most supple boots I own.

Today's Kangaroo boots have been updated with a Cambrelle lining to wick moisture away and a removable orthotic footbed. Other than that, they are exactly the same. The boots retail for $258. They are available in sizes 7 to 13 and half sizes 7 1/2 to 11 1/2 in widths D and EE. Phone: 800-497-7279, ext. 215; www.browningfootwear.com
