I first bumped into Temple Fork rods about 15 years ago at a fly shop near a tiny stream (The Mill River, maybe?) near Hendersonville, NC where I fished during a visit to my prior in-laws.
The rods and cases were a bit snazzy for this build-it-yourself angler, but damn was the finish work fantastic. And the rods performed beautifully.
If nothing else, I like to see a little guy (like Rainshadow in Sequim, WA) take on the big rod makers.
Don't be afraid to try Temple Fork. They're passionate about what they do and it shows.
