The Sitka Flash 20 is a really good daypack with a ventilated, suspended back panel that I appreciated this past spring. It didn’t make 20 pounds of gear disappear, but it carried as well as any other pack in its class. One thing I get tired of is the overbuilt, armor-plated hunting pack that weighs 7 pounds before you drop a nickel into it. This pack has mesh pockets and mesh padding in an effort to cut weight and still seems plenty tough to me. Check it out at sitkagear.com. * – Keith McCafferty

Looks like a good bag, and compared to the rest of todays packs it isn't that expensive.
well if you are rich and can just throw 200 bucks down on a bookbag you could simply get for 20 bucks.. I would say this is expensive. Just go buy a plain book bag that ranges 20-60 bucks and youll be set columbia has some nice ones that are around the $60 range.
Does this have a place for a water bladder in it? After hiking in, then sitting in a stand for a few hours, those tubes come in handy to prevent me from having to keep unscrewing a lid and making a bunch of noise everytime I want a drink.
I agree with robin hood...I took a camel pack that I never used and pulled the gut out of it and put it in my $130.00 hunting bag and it works great. I think for 200 bones that pack better have a gold lining inside it or a lifetime warranty.
To the writers and reviewers at Field & Stream:
Please include in your reviews if the said item is made in the U.S.of A. or not.....this matters to me and a few other people.
Some of the stuff you guys review is so expensive. If it is expensive and made in Pingpong, China, I am sure to be skeptical of it.
Totally agree with above post. Made is USA is much more important to me now more than ever! Please include this info!
