Though not on par with Bushnell's high-end scope lines, such as the Elite 3200 and 4200 series, the Sportsman 3-9x32 performed far better than we had expected considering its retail price of $57, which is why it rated a 'Great Buy'. Bushnell's expressed purpose for the new Sportsman line is to 'offer the consumer the features of more expensive scopes at an affordable price.' In checking the riflescope table, you'll see that the Sportsman 3-9x32 rated well in side-by-side comparisons with scopes costing 10 to 20 times more. Frankly, I'm not about to put this scope on a rifle chambered for the .416 Rem. Mag. But if I were strapped for cash, I wouldn't hesitate to put it on my .243 Win. deer rifle.
