When hunting waterfowl in a group, calling the shot at the right time results in more birds in the bag and more shooting for everyone. Before the hunt, pick someone to call the shot. The caller should let the others know what is happening so they’ll know where the birds will be when it’s time to shoot, and he should call out only when birds get all the way into the decoys, so all hunters will have a shot.
