Animal rights groups would say their high intelligence (that is different than being smart) separates them from the rest of the animal kingdom and make use feel guilty about catching and eating them. Disney would anthropomorphize them in movies. Governments would train them for clandestine and dangerous missions beyond the capability of humans. Oh, I'm sorry - was thinking of the bottlenose dolphin.

We sure wouldn't be catching them if they were that smart
They would be attaching your fishing line to the back end of another boat!
There may be some truth to this. How do salmon return years and hundreds of miles later to the same spawning area?
But the part about the fish picking the ball under the cup I don't believe for a second.
I dont' think there would be many of us fishing. That was funny!
You can train a lot of things to do anything. Impressive? Yes. But a smart fish? Probably not as smart as he acts. Cool though!!!

I wouldn't go fishing if all the fish were that smart. Very funny video.
1, we would not be able to catch them, 2, since they have existed hundreds of million years ahead of us, they would have been catching us!
