Hero For A Day: Rescuing a Seattle River
Hundreds of volunteers help revitalize and restore the Duwamish River, which runs through Seattle on its way to Puget Sound and is home to four species of salmon.
unfortunately its to little to late. Most experts are saying that wild salmon in puget sound will be extinct in 20 years, many runs are for all practical purposes are extinct
Yeah, when you combine the negative effects of all the damns in the Northwest along with Indian fishing and commercial fishing, this is nothing more than a "feel good" Bandaid. It's too bad. Americans squandered a multi-million dollar fishery for cheap power and little else.
