Video: Grouper Teams With Moray To Flush Fish Out of Reef

Check out this clip from a National Geographic report that details how coral groupers “shimmy” and do headstands to attract moray eels, then lead them to good hunting spots.

Kinda makes you wonder if we could teach one to lead me to the good fishing spots......................

I once saw two smallmouth trailing an eel as the eel rooted around the bottom on the St . Lawrence River. I presume the smallies were picking off any startled crawfish.
