Bosnian Shepherd Says He Strangled a Brown Bear to Death

We're not too sure about the facts behind this story out of Bosnia, but it's worth a look. The injured shepherd in this video claims he basically choked a brown bear to death when the bruin attempted to attack his flock.
"I grabbed it round the throat and squeezed and squeezed until it collapsed," the shepherd told news agencies from his hospital bed.
The man sustained injuries to his head and arms, which can be seen in the video above. What say you, is his story legit or not?

I call bullsh!t- the bear prolly choked on the vodka fumes coming off this guy...

if I were a gambling man i'd bet a wheelbarrow full of hundreds that that guy wouldn't come across the strait and do that to a full grown Alaskan grizzly

The photo of a bear in the video appeared to be a young one. I suppose that he could have killed a cub that way...but, who knows...??
well, do they have the body of the dead bear?
Hey, possible, if not probable. He certainly looks like he was in a tussle. I agree, this can't be substantiated without the bear's body, though.
I don't think I could strangle a 150 pound Black bear, and I have seen at least 100 of those. They have really long claws, his forehead looks like he fell down because his pants got caught around his ankles while he was trying to clean out his drawers and run away at the same time.
To all you sceptics, story is legit. This highlander from Bosnia did strangle the bear, but first he hit it with a small axe in the back of the head after it bit him in the leg, than bear knocked it out of his hands apparantly and they fought, it bit him several times on the arm and he grab bear by the throat and fought it down. He found himself atop the bear eventually and just kept strangle it. He didnt strangle it in a minute...he acually passed out for some time and woke atop the bear other sources say. Hahaha, only bosnian tornjak (dog) and bosnian highlanders pick up fight with a bear! Bear was like 3 years old..haha, epic! Tooo Blazooo, zivio Care!
