Video: Eagles Descend on Fish-Filled Pickup in Alaska
By David Maccar
Only in Alaska. Police had to be called to a Safeway parking lot last week when a flock of eagles descended and feasted on garbage bags of fish product stashed in the bed of a pickup truck.
"One of our officers went over there and there were 40 eagles sitting on, in, and around several vehicles in the area," said Public Safety Director Jamie Sunderland.
Police blared sirens and shooed the eagles away long enough for people to sneak into their cars and drive off. Neither man nor bird were injured.

Hi...
Yes, eagles and fish go hand-in-hand...(or is it fin-to-wing?), particularly in Alaska, where you have an abundance of both.
In this instance, the eagles appear to be much more acclimated to and fearless of humans than they would typically display in most other areas.
