I got one and I love it!
Rogue wave perhaps, ran over by a bigger ship maybe?
Possible rip tide or worse----Bull Sharks,
Sad for the loss of fellow sportsmen. RIP.
I concurr with Ruckweiller
Very sad. Most likely Rip currents are to blame. Water is exceptionally powerful and hugely unforgiving. I have been close to a few different drownings and near drownings unfortunately. Clay, it's unlikely Spot would've made a difference, as it's usually pretty quick.
RIP. Ive been swept out to sea at the mouth of the Brazos along with my dad and my friend. Luckily we all had flotation devices. It took about 20 good minutes(felt like hours) for us to finally wash ashore on Wolf Isand. There had been alot of rain that previous week, similar to this past weekend. The rain surge along with building surf and south winds will create rips that apparently just suck you right out. It took just a second before we couldn't see land. I feel for my fellow fisherman. Rest in Peace brothers.
