Colorado Spring Fishing Slide Show
By Tim Romano
It's been a while since I posted a straight up photo entry for the blog and thought you might enjoy a little slide show of some spring fishing activities here in Colorado over the past couple of weeks. There are BWO's on the Big Thompson, getting skunked on Spinney Mt. Reservoir, Mother's Day Caddis on the Arkansas River, and a little carp fishing at Jackson Lake on the plains of Colorado. Enjoy, TR

Very Very nice TR. I have my first big trip of the year starting Thursday. I hope to have some serious fish porn. It's a 2 day solo kayak trip in WV.
Buckhunter,
Thanks man. I try.
Sounds like a great trip. Trout? Bass? or both? Solo, huh? Be careful and let us know if you get any great shots.
Simply flawless photography TR. You capture images so perfectly i feel as though i am there.
very nice!
I have a similar handmade neck cozie
whats the news on the flytalk photo contest? i was banking on a new 5iron
buckhunter... you flat landers should be careful in the hills ;)
TR,
I'm fishing for both trout and bass. My friend has a cabin along a river and about 30 of us are meeting there for the weekend. I'm going a couple days early and dropping myself off about 20 miles upstream. My intent is to hit the hard to reach off the road native brook trout streams that flow into this river.
I did not want to go solo but a "C" in math put my son on the bench for this game.
Once again, Fantastic photos.
Fantastic photography. Really nice once it is all put together. Just wondering, do you have your camera on hand all the time to get shots like that or do you just get lucky?
TR,
Very nice photos, I'm happy to see you are still chasing the Golden Bones!
FloridaHunter1226,
While a lot of it is luck I have to admit I've been carrying a camera on my side since I was in high school. To be honest, it's a lot of hard work.
Carpman - of course. I can't get enough...
Ramcatt,
To be honest, the editors have let it slide. I've brought it up a multitude of times and I think they've pretty much canned it. I really apologize to anyone who spent time getting stuff together. Keep trying on the caption contests.
Thank you timromano...what a visual treat...and, wow-gorgeous steelhead!
Okay, can you buy the neck beer coozie someplace or how do you make it? The answer will seriously make my summer.
i have one for bottles and one for cans
dude, if you can't figure that out... you don't deserve it
