Girl Catches Huge Fish With Bare Hands

By Tim Romano

Something's fishy here... I'm not sure if it's a carp (look at those lips), decaying salmon, blow up toy or what? The video seems legit enough, but I doubt that tiny little girl could have picked up this fish purely based on its weight. Is this video...

...completely doctored or is it real? Either way it's pretty damn funny.

I could see that happening if someone just caught and released the fish.

Either way the father in me says someone should have been holding the little girls hands.

It appears to be an injured carp. I think so because of the light dis-coloration behind the head.
That or it was just tired and one of the multi-colored ones.

must have been something wrong with it or it was one of those places where fish will swim right up to you because they are so used to people

Haha...this is great. I did this once at the beach to a guy. There was a dead flounder in the sand right at his feet that he somehow failed to see in the edge of the surf. I snuck over and grabbed it right outta the water like some sort of ninja. He was in awe. :)

That is a carp, I caught a salmon once that was about 3 feet long. I was doing a stream bottom survey in my advanced placement science class and in my wake the salmon was swimming. Though it was dying it still was a cool catch to be able to pick it up by the tail.

Interesting that the videographer had the presence of mind to capture the event, but couldn't frame the child any closer. Seems the image distorts the closer the fish and child got! I'm suspect of the set up for the shot, but I believe it is a real fish and a carp at that. Look at the shape and size of the tail and the mouth. Carp.

It looked like a carp and I think that is a real video the fish moved to well to be computer animated.

If this is reel ( I mean real) that's one strong little girl. Either way, it's fishy.
