Game Bird Contest Winner

Bravo! That's all I have to say. Either you all are really good, or I'm making these contests way too easy. In either case, next time the guesswork will be a little more challenging I can assure you.
For those of you that guessed California Quail, you are correct (the full photo of the bird is above). But to make it fair, I threw anyone that said quail into the hat for the drawing. After a quick shuffle of the names, I drew Chris Carpenter's name from the pot. Congratulations! Thanks for everyone that offered up their guess, and stay tuned for some other giveaways in the coming weeks. I've got some gear to unload that so of you might be able to use this hunting season. —Ben
