Petzal: Redneck Christmas Float
By David E. Petzal
That picture will give the PETA folks fits! I love it!!
Hey Dave, take off your sun glasses next time!
that has to be one of the best floats ever
Ho, ho, ho----Yeeehaw!!
Grandma got ran over by a whitetail
haha i love it... best float ever...haha...dave should enter that next year in the macy thanksgiving parade...haha wow that is good
that is awesome and those are some nice deer.
Good way to keep the spirit of Christmas alive Mr. Petzal!
Someone sent me this pic yesterday. Too good!!!!
Priceless. ho ho ho
Spreading cheer through the deer... er... ah.. year! Priceless!
Evidently Santa has a good taxidermist!
Beekeeper, ...and some good land to hunt it appears.
classic picture thanks for sharing
Great photo and Merry Christmas to Field and Stream Family and a Happy New Year to all of you!!!
Merry Christmas to all.
Nice choice for Rudolph
I seen that one before, nice.
Where can I get a tag for the North Pole?
Redneck santa delivers duct tape to all the good boys and girls! But no milk and cookies for this santa, if you want redneck santa this year, leave some opossum biscuits and tequila on the table!
But pad your roof this year, duct tape is all that holds the sleigh to the ATV!
Great float for Christmas on the Deer Lease!
I want to take that through the drive-thru at McDonalds and order some pickled opossum feet!
I want to know if all those mounts belong to one guy. They look like they are all very nice and by my count there is over $3000 in mounting fees there.
This photo has spread like wildfire. I first received it about a week ago and forwarded to Bee and my other hunting buddies. Sure is a neat idea.
Merry Christmas everyone.
BRING HIM COOKIES AND BEER HE'LL COME TO YOUR HOUSE FIRST NEXT YEAR!. if that ends up on my rough he mite need a jump ill start building it now!
They say those northern deer are bigger...
Merry Christmass y´all.
Wow! Our Texas Panhandle Santa made it all the way to New York. Send him back when he finishes spreading Christmas cheer in your area. Politically correct I ain't. May you all have a very merry Christmas, a healthy, happy, New Year, and God bless.
I hope Santa brings me a 257 Weatherby; I have a big whitetail across a wheat field I need to deal with.
Don't forget ta leave out a bucket of Popeye's Chicken and a six pack of beer for Santa!
I would bet the ol' redneck could easier name his buddies who shared in those successful hunts and the good times that followed than name Santa's reindeer.
That is sweet. And they are nice bucks too.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's awsome !
That photo has been everywhere already LOL! awesome sleigh
It took a minute for me to figure out that this was supposed to be Santa. Then it came to me; his parka is not orange enough. He hasn't got quite enough stuff piled into his vehicle. And the front deer's nose is slightly redder than the drivers. No, no... this is no hunter. Must be St. Nick.
Santa would be risking his life driving that sled in my neighborhood with all them wall hangers!
I love Santa! that is awesome! what is it built on? a rototiller? a 4 wheeler?
I dunno. This Petzal guy is pretty sharp on political subjects (like Cruella Pelosi). Gottabee holding back. But I must question the intent of publishing such a photo. "Redneck" was a term applied after the uncivil War by Carpetbaggers to folks who had to work outdoors because of diminished social status. If the intent is to poke fun at people who endured persecution while thinking they would be eventually treated as human beings instead of walking to points West, as most did, then I must object. I have no doubt that Dave can see total reflection of Iraq in the Uncivil War. They have even revived the term "Reconstruction". "They" allowed the slaughter of over 500,000 Americans before calling off the travesty. But I digress. If the purpose is to celebrate the adaptive traits and creativity and mimicry of Hank Jr., then we accept. Celebrate The Holidays with liberal application of alcohol, stuff yourselves to the gills with rich food and stay home. But the occasion brings me to recall a poem I read in a "Mad" magazine mebbe 50 years ago. "Stuff your gut with lots of food and then sit back while muscles pound. Don't claim Christmas is the reason, you eat this way all year 'round." HAR HAR.MC&HNY, blackdawgz.
blackdogs can you please go to a history website and make comments like that were just having a little christmas fun thanks
Good fun is all it is meant to be, and most of us born in the South are proud of the term, even if we are not ACTUALLY "Rednecks" but semi-literate.
Hi Dave, Just like to set a few things straight with THE redneck santa float. It is from Awendaw, South Carolina. All were harvested by my son and I with archery tackle. Wishing y'all a succesful and happy New Year.
LOL that is next years christmas card
