New Shooting Gear: Blackhawk! Diversion Line Carrying Cases

By The Editors

BlackHawk! is introducing its Diversion line of discreet gun cases and range bags for 2013. The line includes a gym bag-style case and an AR case that looks like a tennis racket bag.

The idea behind the line is to give gun owners a way to transport their firearms without drawing attention to themselves. The bags will retail for $25 to $125.

It is the "violin case" of the 21 century. Of course wearing "mossy oak" clothing and hunting boots might give it away. I do like the cases though, on my list.

I see. Looks like something someone would use to put their guns in so they wouldn't have to worry so much about thieves breaking into their car or stealing their guns out of motel room, etc? So some kid decides to swipe a tennis racket and winds up with a gun instead. Actually, when my vehicle gets broken into the jerks usually take everything that isn't nailed down and make a run for it. Making a semi-bulky gun bag (like say a hockey bag) with a detachable handles and carrying strap would make the most sense to me. Put the carrying stuff inside the bag when stored unattended. If a thief can't just grab it in one hand in a hurry and run, he's a lot less likely to try swiping it.

Yeah, I think I'll actually put my assault racket in there and fool them all
