New Shotgun: Beretta A400 Action 20 Gauge

By The Editors

This is the first shotgun on Beretta's A400 platform in 20 gauge. It's a light, light shooting gun that points well, making it ideal for long days in the uplands. To counteract the gun's light weight, it's available with Beretta's Kickoff recoil reducer.

Research before purchasing what looks like a great gun from a great manufacturer. According to the specs from the Beretta site the receiver is "... Bronze Toned Aluminum-alloyed Receiver". When I researched for the shotgun I purchased a number of years ago I found that alloy receivers could crack - and the warranty may not cover this issue. Don't forget, a shotgun costing 1500 or 1800 plus dollars will last for many years, well past any warranty. I was very happy to purchase a Beretta shotgun, a steel receiver over/under. Happy & safe hunting.
