New Shotgun Innovation: Mossberg Recoil Reduction System
By The Editors
Mossberg is claiming that it's new recoil reduction will cut down on felt recoil by 30 percent. The company partnered with Matthews (yeah the bow company) to implant a weight suspended in an elastomer unit to eat up the force of recoil.
The system will be available in the 500 and 835 and will add about $50 to each gun.

Hopefully Mossberg/Matthews will be producing these stocks that will fit other guns. I'd be interested in one for my 870. If they only add fifty bucks to the cost of the gun, I'm guessing that the stock itself would recoil at $150 or less. Having the adjustments for cheek would be extremely useful for me as I have a longer neck than the average guy.
