New Shotgun: Ruger Brings Back the Red Label

To the disappointment of Ruger fans, the Red Label was dropped from the market due to high production costs a few years ago. Now the company is bringing back a new, improved version of the gun at a reduced price. The shotgun now retails for about $1,400 and actually has better internal mechanics. Ruger has cut costs by redesigning the the receiver and instituting a more efficient manufacturing method. We expect the Red Label to make a successful comeback.

I have always wanted an over/under, and came close to buying a Baikil but they were just too ugly and thick for my tastes.

I have a lot of really good Ruger rifles and am a huge fan of the company. I killed four deer this year with a No. 1. It has always functioned flawlessly, ALWAYS!
I am glad the price of the Red Label is down and the quality seems to be the same if not better... the real world price is about $999.

It may very well be my next firearm purchase.
