Weekly Pool Test: Trigger X Hodad
By Joe Cermele
This week I'm dunking the new Trigger X Hodad in the pool. Though the super-secret pheromone attractant on Trigger X products offers a serious advantage on the water, you can't see scent in a swimming pool, so it didn't weigh into my assessment at all. I was only interested in the action of this unique tube/crawfish soft-plastic, which has a pretty smart design and caught my eye immediately on the show floor at ICAST. Tell me what you think.

I like it.
Joe, Louie & I were fortunate enough to get a free sample of the Trigger X, Big Moes, in Peanut Butter & Jelly from Rapala a while back. We took them to one of our favorite lakes and the bass literally destroyed the whole pack. The Hodad looks very promising as well. There definately seems to be something to that secret pheromone attractant too. A couple of fish actually grabbed the tail behind the hook and hung on all the way to the boat before letting go.

They got a thumbs up from us!
they look pretty good, and they seem to live up to the action that trigger x has said...however the only true test is on the water
I'm anxious to try some of this stuff. I've seen a tank test where Trigger x worked better than Gulp and I've been impressed with Gulp so far.
this is one i am going to have to try. when will they be available?
