Video Tip: Let the Current Do the Dirty Work
By Tim Romano
Another casting tip from Deeter. Lucky me, I got to hang on for dear life with one arm while filming up above in a tree... This tip is a great one for complex nymph rigs and general casting in general. Less is more. Just let the water load your rod for you.

I do that without even realizing it. Just for flicking hoppers at grassy edges.
Good video Deeter. Little tips like that can make the day go a lot easier. Keep um coming.
informative. helpful. concise.
exactly the type of tip I log on for...
Uhhhh......I think there is a problem here. The precident has been set in this blog where you must hook a fish at the end of your instruction video in order to validate the demonstrated technique. I now have to question the validity of this advice as there was no "payoff" at the end.
sorry wags. Deeter had one but he obviously has absolutely no idea how to hook set. I'll try and teach him how it's done next time we head out.
Thanks for the great tip. The only thing missing in this video is the results from such a good tip... perhaps a fish of some sort....
