Discussion Topic: Levi Says Sarah Palin Doesn’t Hunt
In a new Vanity Fair story, Levi Johnston (Bristol Palin’s ex-boyfriend and father of her child) is slamming Sarah Palin. Besides exposing a laundry list of shortcomings related to subjects typically covered by The New York Times (like Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap Supreme, see below), he also claims: That ex-governor don’t hunt.
From The Washington Post’s “The Reliable Source” blog:
"She says she goes hunting and lives off animal meat -- I've never seen it. I've never seen her touch a fishing pole. She had a gun in her bedroom and one day she asked me to show her how to shoot it. I asked her what kind of gun it was, and she said she didn't know, because it was in a box under her bed." --Levi Johnston in his most withering attack thus far on his ex-girlfriend's mom, in a new Vanity Fair story that marks his journalism debut.

Levi’s reports on Palin’s failings as wife and mother sound exactly like what any self-absorbed teenager might say about his girlfriend’s working mom. She doesn’t cook! He and Bristol had to do everything! They had to take care of the kids and go to Taco Bell to get Sarah a Crunchwrap Supreme!
It’s too bad Johnston is untrustworthy about every subject not covered by Field & Stream. . . .
However, I was fascinated by his claim that she doesn’t know how to shoot a gun. Hunting is one of the very few matters in which Levi Johnston seems like a trustworthy source, and if he says she showed no familiarity with weapons, I want to know more. In fact, I think Palin should never be allowed to bring that moose stuff up again until she appears at a rifle range and gives us a demonstration.

Johnston is a complete loser who says whatever he can to get publicity. He seriously needs to just get over Palin and quit talking smack.
Isn't Levi's 15 minutes of fame over?
I remember seeing a video of her visiting troops somewhere and her taking target practice with them. The video showed her shooting either full-auto or 3-round burst. She looked to me like she was shooting OK. I saw another video of Johnston hanging out with Kathy Griffin somewhere in hollyweird recently. That fact, along with his inability to even operate a condom probably even disqualifies him for manager trainee at Burger King. He's got a great future ahead of himself.....
The fact that the media is putting so much stock in the word of a scorned teenager is somewhat disturbing in my opinion. However, it would be nice to see some footage of her handling a firearm or fishing pole with at least some level of familiarity.
Maybe Waddell should make a roadtrip up north and hunt with her.... just seeing how she handles his playful style would be interesting enough.
Going from a pregnant teenager to a over the hill Hollywood Cougar speaks volumes for Levi Johnson. Maybe Bristol Palin is the winner for not marrying this loser that she was foolish enough to fornicate with.
I'm not a Palin fanatic, but this Levi character is a definite loser. Why would you put any stock in anything he says in the tabloid media? The truth about Sarah Palin will be exposed if she makes another stab at public office. The short campaign of 2008 was not enough time for the dirt diggers to get their dirty deeds done. They have to attack someone now since The Annointed One is off limits.

The more I ponder the vitriol and venom that liberal women are spewing like acid at Sarah Palin, the more I have boiled it down to something less complicated than ideology from them. Sarah Palin is what they wish they could be. These liberal ladies want to have the cheers and throngs of full throated support that Sarah has, and they hate the fact that Sarah is an attractive Republican woman. She's strong, confident, Conservative, happy with her life, beautiful and admired by millions. The liberal female pundits, radical feminists and hollywood kooks who have cultivated thier narrow political audiences are bewildered and jealous over this. Sure there's some ideology mixed in, but I think it's used more as a cover for the seething jealousy of her popularity. To these liberal ladies, "they" are supposed to be the pinnacle of popularity. They have prostituted themsleves to the ideology of a fringe viewpoint , and as a result they get "in" to the elite gatherings of social snobbery that represent that radical view of the country. But , do they really believe the lunacy of the liberalism they spew, or are they towing the line so that they can keep that "in" crowd venue with the mopy miserable depressed liberals who wring thier hands at the unfairness of life, financial success, and carbon-dioxide? I think they secretly wish they could "be" Sarah Palin, because Sarah has not had to go "phony" and be something that "others" want her to be in order to "fit in" with the super egos of radical beligerants. She's not one of them. Sarah doesn't care to rub shoulders with the illuminati of liberal inner circles. It doesn't make sense to the liberal mindset. In thier world view there are not supposed to be "normal" people in this country. Or, at least the "normal" people are supposed to be the "fringe" nutcases not the rallying point of the great majority. But the rest of us know why Sarah is popular. Precisely because she represents the core values we cherish most.

Why is he an expert on guns but not Taco Bell? I get that the writers wouldn't know what kind of gun it was either, most likely, fine. So he knows more about guns than they do.
But the issue with this kid isn't how much he knows about the subject, it's the relationship that what he says has to what has actually happened. It's not like you can know too little to accurately report on whether or not you successfully purchased a crunchwrap supreme and gave it to someone.
The state run media is blind to any misdeeds of Obama and his followers. You have to watch Fox news to see anything that isn't Whitehouse propaganda. Lately they are attacking anyone that disagrees with their proposed health care takeover.

I have no take on whether she was a lousy governor or a good one. I don't vote in Alaska and never will. I know the governor of Washington State is a loser, but I could not tell you a hoot about the other 49.

I have seen pictures of Palin shooting and a video of her shoot a military style weapon. In the photos she shoulders the guns well and has a shooters stance. I doubt very much that this woman can't handle a firearm. Mr. Johnson is being led around by the nose by the hollywood left and isn't bright enough to recognize that the flame burns out quickly.
I think that Palin should retaliate and enter in a trap shooting competition... her results will tell the truth.

I think that Palin should retaliate and enter in a trap shooting competition... her results will tell the truth.
