Washington Hunter’s Body Found After Two-Day Search
From The Spokesman-Review:
A popular Colton, Wash., high school science teacher may have slipped on ice covered by snow and then slid down a cliff to his death, officials said on Monday.
The body of Glenn Voshell, who went missing Saturday while spending the day bird-hunting, was found Monday morning during an extensive search in Whitman County. . .
Nate Smith, principal and superintendent at Colton schools, said . . . that Voshell was a valuable teacher who will be missed.
“He was pretty popular with the kids,” Smith said. “He was a genuinely good guy. It’s just a tragic, tragic situation.”

My prayers for the man's family. What a tragedy.

what an ass. He was my teacher for 4 years he was an all around nice guy. he even taught me how to drive, my prayers go out to him and his family.
Maybe ss4 can enter and upon winning have Troll tattooed on his/her butt!

How can you be so careless and heartless? A father, son, brother, uncle and friend who was loved and respected was tragically lost.
My family and Glenn's family have been next door neighbor's and good friends since 1962. I keep expecting to wake up and this to all be a bad dream. If you knew Glenn, you'd know that he was an amazing person with a big heart.
I know there's never a good time for something like this to happen, but especially at this time of year. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
Ignore the ss4's and sob's. They're just looking for a rise from someone. I was on the search and my heart goes out to the family, I am truly sorry for your loss.
As for the anti's. Just pray you will never need our help as you tramp amongst nature. You won't want us to find you 1st. PETA = People who Eat Tasty Animals.

He might have been trying to get a raise out of people on here. But instead he was ran off for his cold hearted dumbness.
Glenn was a man who made an impact in everyones heart that he met. Someone who was involved in the school and loved being in the great outdoors. I remember him coming in the bank limping because he played basketball, students vs. teachers. But even though in pain he still had a warm smile on his face. Or the day he came in and sat down with one of the bankers and decided to play some pay back to an old student of his by throwing jelly beans at her, while she was working at her desk. I will always be looking for him to come in with a smile on his face and planner in hand to do some banking. His family and friends are in my prayers.
As for the other hunters and fishermen out there keep up with what you love. :D
Glenn was a great person, father and a great Man. I met him while working in the SWEET program for teachers. I have only been teaching for 2 years and he has helped me in many ways this year. I am also hoping that I will wake up and this will all just be a dream. I reach out to his kids and IF there is anything that I can do please ask. His kids ment everything to him. He talked about both his kids everytime that I talked to him. I received an email from him on Friday and he was telling me to find time for myself. I will miss his words of wisdom and long meaningful conversations.
this is the worst nightmare loosing someone that has the pasion of hunting like many of us. There is only one good think he left the earth doning what he loved.
Also my prayers go to his family. it truly is a loss to society, and i am so sorry we lost a wonderful person. I shared this with my wife and kids. we are all lovers of the outdoors and what has been given to us in the way of nature and wildlife. They see how callus people can be. I realize it would be a censorship type of thing but in these senstitve issues I wish FS would not let people like ss4, and sob, into our world.
