A New Dog TV Show Worth Watching
By David DiBenedetto
I just came across the below trailer for a documentary airing on PBS tonight (4/21) at 8 pm ET. It’s called "Through a Dog’s Eyes," and it has nothing to do with gun dogs but everything to do with dogs and the relationships between dog and owner. That is to say, we could all learn something from it.
In particular, the documentary takes you through the training process for service dogs and their new owners. If you’ve ever doubted the power of a dog, just watch the trailer.

What a touching video. I hope the show is a huge success!
Hi Dave,
Of course, if you're a hunting-dog owner, you might also want to check out ...

would like to check that out. some good looking dogs there.
Sometimes the term "Best Friend" seems to fall short of the true meaning.
Love Scott Lindons shows!
Not on our local PBS tonight (series on Great Lakes, instead). Will look for it in the future, though.
Leader Dogs for the Blind is down the road. They have their own secluded course but also train their dogs and new owners in our downtown streets. Always great to see dogs at work ... though I think they see it as responsible play.
Picking up blinds,running straight lines!
I am watching it as I type this. What a touching show. I am at a loss for words to truly describe how wonderful these relationships are.
But I don't like Wolves or "Dogs" in general.
The Labradors are special.
I am well aware of their power.
Their precursors ( St. John's Breed of Water Dog or Lesser Newfoundland ) attracted Nobles of the British empire and Scandinavia for reasons other than Retrieving.
Seems they had an uncanny trait which allowed them to imprint upon their owners and communicate.
There are a few accounts of them unexplainably running directly to blinds at National Championships.
They are benign spirits.
Love Scott Lindens show!Sorry for misspelled last name.Great show Scott!
Excellent article. I believe that if more people tried bow hunting, they would be surprised how much fun this can be. I invite you and your readers to visit my new site, Silent Draw Outdoors. This is a new breed of hunting and outdoor adventure. Watch bow archery hunting videos of big game in North America.
