Butchering With Obsidian

When I clicked on this video, I was simply thinking it might be kind of neat to see a guy hack through a deer with a rock. What impressed me even more than the fact Shawn Woods is using a flake of obsidian is how comprehensive he is in breaking down the deer. I’ve watched lots of hunters armed with scalpel-sharp modern blades not get as much meat off a carcass as efficiently as Woods does. My recommendation: While you watch him work, take notes.
