Win a New Bow: Buck-Scoring Contest, Round 3
By Dave Hurteau
All right, it’s time to ratchet up the degree of difficulty here—make things a little more interesting. Up to this point you’ve been scoring typical whitetails, but now, for the third buck of our contest (click here if you missed Round 1 or Round 2), I’m throwing a muley in the mix. Remember, you are playing for a brand spanking new Prime Alloy bow, G5’s 2014 flagship model, a prize worth over $900.
If you’re late the party, here’s a quick recap of how this works: I am in the midst of posting pictures of four hunter-killed bucks, one a week for a month. You need to guess the gross antler score of each buck (fractionals count) and keep track of your totals. When I post the photo of Buck Number Four, I’ll ask you to add up your grand total and submit it. If your guess is closest to the actual total score of the four bucks, you win the bow.
Here’s Buck Number Three, and because it’s a muley and potentially a tougher challenge for some, I’ll give you two angles. Take a close look. Now, what his gross B&C score?
*You must be at least 14 years old to play; if you are not yet 18, we will need to ship the bow to your parent or guardian.
