I had spotted a large buck in this clover/alfalfa field on a few different evenings. He was always in the same general area. I drove a homemade mount into the ground just inside the field edge and mounted my 6mp, homemade trail camera to it. I lucked out when on 8/29/09 at 9:30pm he decided to feed right in front of the camera and show off his credentials. He had just shed his velvet.
