Description
About a year ago I tried to get my daughter into shooting.she informed me that I would have to buy her her own gun. After an immediate trip to the gunshop we came home with her very own remington 597 in 22cal. I shudder to think what I've spent in 22 ammo over the last year but it's been more than worth it for the time we spend together.

The cost of ammo is a mere pittance when compared to the father/daughter time it creates. My youngest (13) also has a 597 to go along with her .243 though she is quite quick to grab my M-4 when it's time to shoot. My oldest is deadly with her Savage .270 and at 15 has 12 deer to her credit already. Dads and Daughters.
