Idaho Ice Fishing (IIF) gets a little sketchy in April. The Ice starts to soften up and completely disappear along the shore. But for a brave few, this is the best time to get on the big trout. We bring our latter and waders, wade to the edge of the ice, and climb the ladder onto the ice. The warm temps make for tee-shirt days on the ice, and get those big trout moving.
