Massachusetts - Cape Cod
Right now the best striper fishing on earth is off Cape Cod. North-migrating fish are hitting the beaches, bays, and offshore rips, chowing down on squid, sand eels, herring, and more. Surf casters do best with lures at dawn and dusk high tides; a 2-ounce Kastmaster tin is basic. Boat fishermen working shoals and holes, particularly off the Cape's south side or in Cape Cod Bay, can score all day. Goose Hummock, 508-255-0455;
