Stripers, weakfish, and summer flounder are the main targets in the big bay, generally from Dover south. Weakfish numbers have declined over the past decade, but big tide runners to 8 pounds or more are still possible. Midsummer stripers will be small but abundant and fun to catch; trophies usually return to the lower bay tide rips in mid October.
