Alaska - Sitka
It's all about location, location, location. Sitka is a major pit stop on an ocean freeway used by salmon heading to British Columbia, Washington, and other Alaska waters. Catch rates per angler are higher here than at any other marine area in southeast Alaska, and June is the No. 1 month.
