Utah - Flaming Gorge Reservoir
Elbow room and fish are both easy to find in this 91-mile-long reservoir. The mackinaw may be more concentrated at the Wyoming end, but Utah anglers should find a good supply in the canyon area upstream from the dam. Trolling always works here, but so does jigging big kokanee-imitating tube baits off points in 50 to 90 feet of water. Also be ready to take a three-fish limit of trophy-size kokanee. Quick Tip: Try to pick out the little points and knobs with gravelly bottoms. Where to Fish: The Antelope Flats-Lucerne Bay area, near the town of Manila. Photo From Flaming Gorge Reservoir
