Q:Im probably gonna be ice fishing for sorta the first time. On a lake in upstate ny there should be about20-24 inch of ice. Ill have 5 tip ups and 1 or 2 jigging rods. The lake is good for perch and pike in the winter so ill be targeting them. Should i go to the deep spots with weeds? probably just gonna use waxworks and minnows or should i use something else? How are my chances of catching fish if its a great open water lake? All answers are much appreciated!
