Eating bluefish isn't a widespread practice, maybe because not enough east-coast anglers have heard of seen this recipe.
Q:in the area that i fish i see alot of sharks take the tails off of tapon that are hooked by anglers and they just throw them back to the shark after they land it are there any recipets for tarpon are they good to eat or what there seems to be alot of meat on one if i run across a shark with a tarpon on the line i would like to know for sure

Q:To all you anglers out there. I just had something you might enjoy. "Fish collars" the neck behind the gill and ending just behind the pectoral fin. Marinate in Meso or soya sauce. Crank the charcoal grill to melt iron. There you go. A crispy appetizer. Tuna, Salmon, Black Cod or Strip Bass. Any Fatty Fish will do. Do not over look the cheeks.

Q:I had to post this. I just saw a Blue Fin Tuna sell for $736,000. One of my earliest memories is of a gentleman who had a giant Tuna sticking out the back of his station wagon. This was in Montauk point in the mid 50's. I asked him what he was going to do with the fish. He replied they were selling it for cat food! How times have changed and how small the world has become.

Q:This is a question of how to put up fish in the freezer. In my experiance Speckled trout, white trout, weakfish do not freeze well. They seem to be mushy when you thaw them. Any advice to avoid this is appreciated. Im sure Santa has the answer but anyones comments are welcome.
