do you have an addiction... I KNOW i DO
Uploaded on January 01, 2010Do you just bowhunt for whitetail or do you go all out and pursue everything you can with a bow. I know personally I am goin after everything. I just love shooting my bow and its an all year thing. Not just big game but small and fish too. GAME ON!!! Lets here from yall and talk about everything you pursue

I hunt coyotes with my recurve and its awesome
DO I HAVE AN ADDICTION ABSOLUTELY. HAVE NOT TRIED HUNTING ANYTHING BUT DEER YET BUT I AM LOOKING INTO SEVERAL OTHER POSSIBILITIES FROM SMALL GAME TO TURKEY TO GEESE AND MAYBE SOME FISH ACTION. I SHOOT SEVERAL DOZEN ARROWS A DAY BUT LATELY THE WEATHER HAS BEEN TERRIBLE AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET OUT AND SHOOT. MY WIFE SAYS IT'S NOT A HOBBY OR AN ADDICTION. SHE SAYS IT'S AN OBSESSION! WELL MAYBE SHE'S RIGHT BUT EITHER WAY IT'S ALL GOOD WITH ME.
i love hunting and shootin with a recurve and i think abut deer archer seaon ever day, but so far only hunt squirell + deer with one
Absolutely crazy about bow hunting. I only started using a bow 3 years ago in order to keep my options open because the Army likes to keep me busy during hunting season.
When I snuck up on a cow elk from 120 down to 40 yds my first season and got a sight picture I was hooked.
Now those daggone pronghorn have been driving me crazy (spot and stalk) It is all I think about ( 8 more months)
I enjoy hunting anyway possible be it bow rifle or muzzleloader but there is something about bowhunting, just cant get enough.
Spring Turkey next

yes I too have became addicted to this website and as well Im with ya on the bow! I got a goose this year it was awesome! I just talked with my bro and we have started pencil planning a bear hunt for this spring!
This past summer we nailed carp in a local lake and stream! FUN
I also target shoot in the basement its around 30-38 yrd shots or I can head to the barn for treestand shots!
Just reading youre responses gets me fired even though deer season just ended today and I failed to get one. All that means to me though is that it is time to start predator hunting with the bow, that and rabbit
Predator with a bow is so tuff! I got a inside note for ya guys, find a subdivison that you know holds game (coyote/fox) secure permission and HUNT! some of my best kills have come from up close personal hunts by the bird feeders and barbques!

It's not an addiction. Ok, maybe it is an addiction, but it's also a lifestyle. But mostly a lifestyle. Ah who am I kiddin I'm addicted. I can't live in denial.
Bowhunting is definately a good addiction!! Deer season here in MN starts in just over a month and I dont think I can wait that long. Ive been watching hunting shows on tv as much as possible to try and slow the craving down. Only hunt deer but looking for more things to shoot!!
What is everyone doing before their season starts? I have 12 days till deer season starts here in Ky (not that im counting or anything). Got everything bought, set up, and basically prepared and its driving me kinda nuts not having anything else to do and not go out to the farm and check trail cams daily to see if any shooter bucks are moving more. LOL OBSESSED! Guess Ill keep practicing and glassing from a distance and leave the woods be for the next week and a half. Happy Hunting everyone!
My wife say it is not an addiction but an obsession! As long as she is OK with it< I guess it is all good!
bows are one of the funnest things on earth. i shoot from 20-35 yards almost everyday
