I used to own a bear, i liked it and killed a few deer with it. It got destroyed accidentally so i had to find a new bow this fall. I shot the lights out when shopping for a new bow. I liked it for the most part, I thought that for the price it was one of the better bows out there. I thought it would be an accurate bow, but it seemed like it really lacked power compared to some of the others. I ended up spending a little more for the new PSE bow madness xs. It had a smoother draw and significantly more power than the bear at the same draw weight. Diamond makes a bow for about the same price that is faster, but it's longer and i thought less pleasant to shoot. Hope my input helps.
