New 30-06 Ammo

Uploaded on November 02, 2009

For years I have shot Remington 30-06 Core-Lokt (NOT Ultra) 180 grain, soft point (NOT pointed soft point), but have read some about the new ammo out there like the Nosler Partition and would like to know what the advantages/disadvantages are of these are? Will they shoot differently? Which are the best to consider for whitetails? My shots are typically less than 150 yards in wooded terrain (Northern WI)
Not sure if I should change ammo since I have heard rummblings that Remmington is not going to make the NON-POINTED soft point any more, but I have not been able to confirm this.
Thanks
