The Firing Line
I have a Ruger Ranch in 6.8mm Rem SPC.
Yeah! I know! It's not very popular! But that's beside the point. I truly "love" that little stainless, sawed off sucker.
So far, it has performed admirably on everything I've triggered with it. Deer and feral hogs (primary reason for the purchase!) along with 'yotes, 'dillers, skunks and one treed, po'd rackety coon bowed graciously to it's supplications of surrender.
...and yes, I KNOW I need a newer (newest is a 1990 model!) loading manual.
Can anybody give me some starter loads for this round.
I only have IMR 4895 powder.
In bullets, I have 90 gr HP's, 110 gr Spitzer, 130 gr BTSP and some 150 gr Spire Points.
I really don't think the 150's are 6.8 fodder.
Any suggestions? (...other than a new manual! that's coming in time, I need a load now!)
