Cheap Sand Bags

Try making your own sand bags for benchrest shooting using play sand from your local supplier, vacuum seal bags and salvaged pant legs from denim jeans. Prepare your vacuum bag for the size you want, fill with dry sand and heat seal as you would with food. Make a durable cover for the plastic vacuum bag by cutting a bluejean pantleg to the right size and use a hot glue gun to glue the ends of the material together. I use plastic buckets to transport my bags to and from the range!
