Crab Bait

Vacuum seal and freeze some of the whole trout you catch but aren't planning to eat through out the year. When crabbing season comes around, pull the fish out and put some slices in them with a fillet knife and use them as your crab bait. Crabs go crazy for the trout, it will fill the pots with crab and not have you running to the grocery store to pay for bait.
