Fletching colors

Uploaded on April 12, 2013

When choosing fletching colors, I always try to incorporate white, wether it be with a white wrap or a white cock vane. The white gives me a better idea where I hit the animal on those unsure shots when I look at my arrow, light and frothy points to lungs and dark red looks equals liver. This helps me judge how long I should wait before I begin tracking game.

smart thinking I also always try to pick a collor to help me get some idea of what part of the animal the blood is from. I also always try to pick collors that stand out to me, in case I dont get a perfect pass through and have to look for the arrow along the way

Very good advise! I started out using orange and green fletching and have recently changed to green and white. They are much easier for me to see at different times of the hunting hours,
