The Tip Board
Take all the silica gel bags that come in thing you buy and put them in the bottom of your gun cabinet of safe to help keep your guns dry. You will to surprised how soon the bottom of your cabinet is covered.
I've been doing that for about 2 years and have quite a pile going. I don't have a humidity sensor in there to see if it actually works, but it can't hurt.
I agree completely with tbmsu. It can't hurt. It is of 100% importance to keep your gun cabinet and/or safe humidity free. not, your firearms will rust in an accelerated fashion. And we all can agree that rust is not a good thing.
I've been rotating a few in and out of my gun bag. Like you all have said, it can't hurt.
