Make a line Spool holder for almost nothing

Uploaded on January 12, 2012

Make a spool holder, for re-spooling up all your fishing reels without headaches. All you need is: a hockey puck(wooden block also works), a medium sized spring, a threaded metal rod (4-10inches, depending on the size of spool), a wing nut to fit the threaded rod, and a drill-bit! simply drill a hole in the middle of the hockey puck. next put the threaded rod in the hole, sticking up vertically. Then, slide your spring on the rod, put your spool on top of the spring, and crank down the wing-nut on top of the spool, to your desired tension on the spool. simply adjust it to your desired tension, and spool up!
